The Egyptian Union
of Young Human Rights Organizations ( Young
Organizations Network ) is an independent
non-governmental and non-profit institution seeking
to spread and support a culture of
human rights
in addition to achieve a comprehensive development
in the Egyptian society through its activities and
programs.
The Network believes the principle of equality and
non-discrimination on the basis of race, religion,
color or sex between members of the community in
rights and duties. Union’s membership is granted
to young organizations working in the field of human
rights.

In an important and historic
initiative, a number of Egyptian human rights organizations
agreed on the establishment of a union between
young
human rights organizations. The purpose of establishing
this union is to support the system of Egyptian
civil society through enhancing the concept of partnership
between the organizations members of the Union.

The Union received the resolution of to endorse the report of the South African Judge Richard Goldstone on the war by Israel on the Gaza Strip during December 2008, particularly with regard to referring the case to the ICC pursuant to limit the policy of impunity.
